The median price for single family homes from 2011 to 2012 (YTD) is up 4% ($583,750 2011 vs $605,000 2012 YTD). The median price for multi-family residences from 2011 to 2012 (YTD) is up 7% ($305,000 2011 vs $327,500 2012 YTD).
Total Monetary Volume in March 2012 is down 17% from March 2011, with 2011 = $44,858,700 and 2012 = $37,384,000. Total Transactions in March 2012 were down 21% from March 2011 (2011=102 and 2012=81). YTD Gross volume is down 5% and transaction volume is down 8%. We are still pacing much better than 2009 and 2010 YTD for 3 months.
